Cancellations
You are entitled to cancel your ticket(s) provided they have not been used to attend the event.
Cancellation requests must be submitted no later than the day before the event date by submitting a refund request via Howler or by contacting support@howler.co.za.
No cancellation requests will be considered on the day of the event or after the event has taken place.
Refund Policy Applicability
Not all event organisers follow a standard refund policy. Where no specific organiser refund policy is provided, the standard refund policy outlined below will apply.
Please note that in certain instances, ticket revenue may already have been paid out by Howler to the event organiser. In these cases, refunds will be processed by the event organiser and not Howler. Any delays caused by the organiser are outside of Howler’s control, as Howler cannot be responsible for funds it does not hold.
Cancellation Fees
Although you are entitled to cancel your ticket(s), cancellation fees may apply as determined by Howler and/or the event organiser.
The following cancellation fees may apply:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the event: 25% cancellation fee
- Cancellation less than 30 days before the event: 50% cancellation fee
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the event: 75% cancellation fee
- Cancellation on the day of or after the event: No refunds will be issued
Special Considerations
In the event that documentary proof can be provided showing that the person in whose name the ticket was booked is unable to attend due to death or medical incapacity, no cancellation fee will be levied on that person’s ticket.
